Billing questions
What is a seat?
One person in a space your subscription pays for. Monthly allowances (messages, explanations and spoken minutes) are pooled across all your seats.
Can I try Meet before paying?
Yes. Try the demo on this site without an account, then use the Free plan with up to 3 people for as long as you like. Subscribe only when your team needs more.
How does cancellation work?
Cancel any time from Plan and usage in Meet. You keep paid access until the end of the period you've paid for, then the space returns to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted.
Who can subscribe on the website?
Website subscriptions are available for verified billing addresses in all 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C. Prices are per seat, plus any applicable sales tax.
Can I subscribe in the mobile apps?
In the Android app, team plans for 3, 4 or 5 people are sold through Google Play in many countries, at Google Play's local prices. iPhone and iPad subscriptions open when the App Store listing is approved. A store subscription is managed and cancelled in that store.
What happens if we hit an allowance?
You'll see a warning at 80%. If a limit is reached, Meet tells you before anything is lost; type instead of speaking, or add seats.
Do members of a sponsored space pay?
No. When an organization sponsors a space, its members are never charged.
